For those of you that weren't with me at the lovely Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Elementary School, Mr Wolkoviak was my third grade teacher. He was lovely and called me his secretary, because I wore blazers. Even in grade three, yes I wore blazers in school and was the girl known as never wearing pants AND NO NOT BECAUSE I WAS PULLING A BRITNEY rather I preferred much more sophisticated things like skirts and dresses :)
I'm telling you I loved this shit even before I knew what I was doing... I would like to thank Jacob Jr. for my pre-pubescent love of fashion which was DA BOMB when I was younger and my cooler cousin Kyla Armstrong-Miller who gave me the BEST damn garbage bagged hand-me-downs EVER... seriously, most of the clothing still had their sales tags on them and were never worn so it was beyond amazing.
back to writing...loved it from when I could remember. If I was living at home with the rents I'm sure I would be able to pull some awesome excerpts of my previous work but for not so unfortunately for me I live in a den (for serious) downtown and don't have those special memories with me. BUT I do remember Mr. Wolkoviak making the coolest writing exercises which have clearly lasted in my memory. Mainly because they were contests which I won.
hahahhahahahha
okay come on... I did win a few.... the best poem for Remembrance Day was one of my conquests... and the prize was a troll!!! I DEFINITELY remember that one, loved the trolls!
Anyways my whole point of this blabber is that I would like to THANK all those people that have supported me in the past towards my writing. These days in school, I feel that I am more hard than ever receiving some of the feedback which I know will only lead to progress but it can still hurt ya know? Just sting like a paper cut. I am very grateful that I have this beauty of a little red book as an outlet to really tell it like it is. CP style OR NOT!!!!!
p.s. for those of you there WERE in school with me, how the hell do you spell his name??? the poor guy, I feel like I butchered it but its seems nowhere to be found, well on the internet that is haha
xo
