Be All End All FASHION Is Not

I love this quote. I can relate to this quote. I love fashion but it does not consume me. I constantly try not to place too much value on material things. Unfortunately this can be hard sometimes, especially when you love love love those must-have shoes. In the grand scheme of things though, they just cover your feet.

My favorite part of this quote is that it's from a designer. I feel that they would be most concerned with material things considering it is how they make their living. It is quite refreshing actually.

Tom Ford's talent doesn't end when the fashion lights dim. He has also made his mark in cinema. His most recently directed movie, A Single Man, opens tomorrow! My main girl Mackenzie created a nice little prep for the film here, and you can watch the trailer below. I won't lie, I am not the biggest movie buff around town but I do love Tom Ford, and Colin Firth isn't so bad either. So I think I might actually venture out and see this one. I will be at yoga opening night but I'm a just curious... will you be at the movies?

Secret: I love Tom Ford’s eyewear. If I needed glasses I would totally be the proud owner. Unfortunately for me… I don’t need them. Tried to fake an eye exam couple of years ago… no go.

Recycle Waste, Not Holiday Outfits

Anyone else having problems trying to find as many outfits as you have holiday parties?

I am I am!!!!

And the bigger issue here for me, (because its all about me) is the green... thats right ... the moooola, the cash flow.

So I am thinking the thing to do here is go for practicality. NORMALLY I am all about being impractical because its simply more fun BUT in situations like this... it is necessary.

Go for more applicable pieces. Maybe a great top that you know you can pair both with a great high waisted skirt AND leggings... preferably the wet kind, I'm a fan.

alright I have to admit it...

I have never really been the biggest Gaga fan... yeah not so much.

I am more along the lines of Britney.... Madonna... Kylie fan... BUT with a little influence from a friend (ahem, mills) and a bad romance... I've been converted into what you may call a Lady Gaga "fan"

Lets call a spade a spade here.. Lady Gaga looks BANGING on the cover of Elle.

GOLDMEMBER

i LOVE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD...Austin Powers, Goldmember..... anyone... anyone...bueller???

right anyways, I do love gold and it just so happens to be the thing to wear these holidays!

I have personally always rocked the gold but underwent a silver take over for a little while. I'm not sure what it was... the coolness of it, was everyone else wearing it??? Was it because Tiffany's had the hottest silver at the time???

Well in a recent celebration I received a GOLD little member. My first Tiff Gold. It feels special...

I feel like a little touch of gold with any outfit is like a little touch of class!!! Here are some of my other favorite goldmembers : One my all time favs, TOMS gold glitter shoes!! They are so comfortable and support a great cause!!! It's a one for one deal meaning you purchase a pair for your self selfishly and then not so selfishly TOMS donates a pair of shoes to a child in need!!!! How great is that???? :)

OKAY so I may not own the YSL bag but I just came across the picture of it and fell in love and also felt that it would fit nicely not only under my arm but in this post... its an official goldmember!
